1. Who We Are Releev Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Relieve platform. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16717908), with our registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller (registration number: ZB990391). We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who can be contacted at hello@relieve.care. 2. Scope and Nature of the Service Relieve is a general wellbeing and lifestyle tracking platform. It enables users to: * Record and organise self-reported information; * View patterns and summaries of their own data; * Access general, non-clinical educational content. Relieve is not a medical device and is not intended for: * Diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of disease; * Clinical monitoring or risk assessment; * Medical decision-making. All data processed within Relieve is user-generated and self-reported, and is handled solely for wellbeing and informational purposes. 3. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old to use Relieve. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data relating to children. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will delete it without delay. 4. Categories of Data We Collect We collect the following types of data: a) Account Information: * Name; * Email address; * Date of birth; * Login credentials. b) Wellbeing and Self-Reported Data: * Mood, lifestyle, and personal reflections; * User-entered notes and check-ins; * User-generated summaries and tracked information. This data may constitute special category data under UK GDPR where it relates to health or wellbeing. c) Technical and Usage Data: * Device type and operating system; * IP address; * App usage and interaction data. d) Payment Information: * Payments are processed securely by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe); * We do not store full payment card details. 5. How We Use Your Data We use your data to: * Provide and operate the Relieve platform; * Enable you to log, organise, and view your information; * Generate descriptive summaries and visualisations of your data; * Manage subscriptions and payments; * Maintain security and prevent misuse; * Improve the functionality and performance of the platform; * Comply with legal obligations. We do not: * Use your data to provide medical advice; * Use your data for clinical profiling or diagnosis; * Sell or share your personal or wellbeing data for advertising purposes. 6. Lawful Basis for Processing We process personal data under the following legal bases: * Contract – to provide the Relieve service; * Legal obligation – where required by law; * Legitimate interests – for security, analytics, and service improvement (non-sensitive data only); For special category data (health/wellbeing data): * We rely on your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) UK GDPR. 7. Explicit Consent By creating an account and using Relieve, you provide explicit consent for us to process your self-reported wellbeing and health-related data for the purposes outlined in this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by: * Updating your account settings; * Contacting hello@relieve.care. If you withdraw consent: * We will stop processing your wellbeing data; * Certain features of the app may no longer be available. 8. Data Sharing We only share your data where necessary and under strict controls: * With service providers: - Hosting and infrastructure providers; - Analytics providers; - Payment processors. All providers act under contractual obligations and process data only on our instructions. * With authorities: - Where required by law or regulatory obligation. We do not sell, rent, or commercially exploit your personal data. 9. International Transfers Your data is stored within the UK or European Economic Area (EEA), or with providers that ensure an adequate level of protection in accordance with UK GDPR (e.g. via adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses). 10. Data Security We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, including: * Encryption in transit and at rest; * Secure infrastructure and access controls; * Role-based data access; * Monitoring and incident response procedures. While we take all reasonable steps, no system can be completely secure. 11. Data Retention We retain your data: * For as long as your account is active; * Until you request deletion or withdraw consent. Upon account deletion your data will be securely erased except where retention is required by law 12.
